Botticelli, Generous Clothing for the Curvaceous Woman

From the moment I walked into Botticelli, I felt great about. Jan, the owner, the owner warmly greeted me, my mother, and my sisters. She seated my family and then asked me questions about the overall style of my wedding, what I was hoping for, and pictures. I was pretty stressed because I was afraid I wouldn't fit into the sample or get a good idea of what my dress would actually look like, but from the first dress I put on that fear dissipated. Jan knew exactly what I was looking for and it only took 5 dresses before I found my dress! It is absolutely perfect and I am ecstatic! The price was right on point as well! Even more importantly, there was never a pressure to buy or find a dress, which was so wonderful! I would highly recommend Botticelli to any woman who is looking for an amazing dress shopping experience!

This store is phenomenal. I walked into the store, was asked a few questions and Jan knew within minutes what my style was. She brought me dresses to try on and I had my Mother of the bride dress in no time at all. I had struggled at other Bridal stores trying on dresses then didn't fit my curves trying to make a decision for one of the most important dresses of my life. Botticelli was an answer to my dreams.

Botticelli is THE place to go if you are a plus sized bride and want great personal, professional service. Jan was awesome! She took the time to listen to my likes and dislikes of each dress I tried on or saw, judged my reaction to each dress, and eventually helped me find the dress of my dreams! I had some concerns due to the fact that we are moving to Houston between now and the wedding. After a bit of discussion we decided to order a stock size that came in in two weeks! I really appreciated the fact that they had plenty of dresses close to my size (street size 16/18) to actually try on, and that the sales woman was not a super skinny twenty-something, but a beautiful, real, woman close to my age, who could relate to my previous frustratons with dress shopping. I can't imagine finding a better place or a better person to help me find my dress!

Buying my wedding gown at Botticelli's was hands down the BEST shopping experience of my LIFE! I walked in with the mindset that the selection was going to be as limited as it was in other stores and that the staff would be as disinterested as they were in other stores. I was completely knocked off my feet! I was the only bride in the store and for a while, I was the only client in the store. The owner and one other staff member were at my beck and call and gave honest, compassionate opinions about what I looked like in each gown. They took the time to help me feel comfortable as a "plus size" bride... and their focus was not making the sale, but making my wedding gown dreams come true. And they did. I walked out with my dream gown at the end of the appointment. My mother and I were so thrilled with the service that we went back for her mother of the bride gown and again, an incredible shopping experience was had. I have recommended and will recommend this store for as long as their doors are open! Thank you, Botticelli's!

Tana was wonderful. I drove all the way from Boston and she was very accomadting with the appointments. This best part was she honest with every dress I put on.

I had an excellent experience with Botticelli Bridal. It was nice to be made to feel like a beautiful bride and not a 'plus size' bride. All of the gowns I tried on were beautiful and nothing like I had seen at the 'other' plus size bridal boutique. I found my dream gown for a reasonable price. Throughout my experience, my bridal consultant (Tana) and the owner (Jan) were so kind to my mother and I and very helpful in picking gowns appropriate to what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend and curvy bride to go to this store and see the difference a personal, local-owned store can provide.

People still complement me on my dress and the wedding was 4 months ago. The tayloring was the best.

I loved this store because they actually had dresses that larger women can try on and get a feel for before they spend money on a dress...much nicer than just hanging something in front of you and trying to imagine whether or not it would look good on you or squeezing into an impossibly small sample gown. The owner of the store is lovely -- very responsive to how you're feeling about a dress, what you like and what you don't like. It took me a few tries and two visits to figure out what I really wanted, and they never tried to push anything on me...they just led me gently to the right gown. I have to say, their honesty was nice! The original gown I thought I was going to purchase just didn't look quite right to me, and Jan (the owner/consultant I worked with) suggested we try a few others. When I got to another dress I liked a lot, she and my sister both agreed that it looked a lot better on me. It was a wonderful journey to the right dress.

When my daughter was married I wanted a dress that was really special and I was prepared to pay for it. I made trips to Boston and New York and came home empty-handed and disappointed in the service I received. Who would have guessed that the dress AND the service I was looking for were so close to home? Jan is an expert at fit and style and she makes shopping fun. When you are looking for what I have described, go to Botticelli first.

I originally purchased my dress from another vendor. When the dress came in it was a nightmare. It was 2 weeks before the wedding and my sisters made telephone calls and we found Botticelli. They told my sisters to bring me in the next day and we was certain she could help me. From the moment I walked through the door they were pleasant, patient and put me at ease and asked me to trust them that I will be beautiful...Well I did trust them and I felt beautiful. It worked out better than I could of hoped for. Perhaps it was meant to be.

Botticelli is hands down the best ANY kind of clothing store I've ever shopped in. The owner is amazing and will help you dress for any occasion and make you look and feel great. What brought me to Botticelli was shopping for a wedding gown for my now wonderful wife. We had not had much luck in more traditional bridal stores as they had little if any samples to try on. Jan had lots and lots of things. Ultimately my wife did buy her dress here and even though I didn't plan on wearing a dress myself I was so happy with the service and selection that I went for a dress too. I couldn't be happier with how I looked and the customer care I recieved. Jan is like a friend who makes you look and feel gorgeous! I love this place!

Shopping for my dress here was a great experience! It was really great to actually be able to try on samples that I could get into. Plus, Tana was just a delight to work with. Even though this was more than an hour out of my way, it was totally worth it.

I love this store!!! I'm a size 24/26 depends what day it is. When you are there you are #1. The personal service sets them apart from other stores. They dressed me for both of my daughters weddings. Full service! Gown,Bra(which fits perfect),spanx and shoes. They carry quality clothing, and also affordable. When you want to look your best Go To Botticelis You wlll leave feeling your best!!

Everything was great. I was comfortable while I was there. I just wish there were more dresses to choose from.

I chose Botticelli's because I am a plus size woman and I really wanted to be able to try on something in my size and I had heard great things about them. I worked with Tana while there and she was awesome. They had about 10 gowns for me to try on while I was there and they were very patient and helpful. I found the quality to definitely be better than Davids Bridal and although the dresses were priced a little higher it was totally worth it. I also loved that they didnt pressure me to buy all of the extras. It was a great experience and I would recommend them to any plus size gal!

Great store, EXCELLENT service! Even though I couldn't find the right dress with them, I would highly recommend them.

I enjoyed my experience at Botticelli's. I emailed them to request a short notice appointment and they responded the same day and were able to fit me in. The employees were very professional and since they were able to focus thier attention on me it made me feel special which you is how you should feel as a bride! They are flexible in what you want to do with any of the dresses (for example, if you want to add sleeves). I believe they only have dresses from one designer and although they had a lot of dresses to choose from and they are very different from one another, it would of been nice if they offered at least one more designer.
